We believe the physical and mental health of our customers are highly influenced by their living environment – as we contend that household hygiene and tidiness are particularly important factors that could influence the physical and mental well-being of an individual. The importance of family hygiene and tidiness should not be neglected especially for families with children. With the humidity and air pollution problems in Hong Kong, it is not easy to maintain high hygiene level and cleanness of a household. Humid weather provides the best environment for bacteria to grow and to spread. Thus, regular home cleaning is an absolute necessity to reduce and prevent the growth of bacteria.

Standard service scope of our housekeeping service

Our home cleaning services includes basic dust removal for bedrooms, living room, bathroom, kitchen, windows, furniture & floor cleaning, ironing, laundry (only when washing machine is available) & much more. Moreover, our domestic helpers can assist you in your grocery shopping. If you need child care, elderly care or Maternity After-care (Doula) services, contact us and we will quote a special rate for you. Please feel free to contact us for more information about our services. Kindly note that customers must have cleaning equipment and detergent available at their homes for our domestic helpers to use for cleaning.

At the time of service, customers need to bring their own cleaning tools such as vacuum cleaners, floor tows, buckets, window washers, etc., and provide the necessary cleaning supplies or detergents for the company's waiters.

Our customer service team will arrange a suitable helper for your household to ensure your housekeeping concerns are met and addressed. • Having a large database makes it easy for us to arrange a maid and replacement helper whenever necessary, so fret not, as we will ensure your house gets cleaned and serviced! If one gets sick or cannot provide cleaning service due to unforeseen circumstances, we will delegate another maid immediately to make sure your home receives the cleaning service it needs.
• At smart home, changing helpers is completely free! For any reason if you think the maid does not fit your need, customers can always ask for a replacement of helper. Simply by calling us or send a text through whatsapp, no extra fee will be charged.
• Follow up for damages - if anything is damaged by any of our domestic workers, we will investigate and may compensate with a maximum HKD$200 if the maid is found at fault.
• Smart Home internal training- Besides training given by reputable governmental institutions, we provide internal training in home cleaning for our maids to maintain the superb quality of our services and make necessary improvements over time.

Disadvantages of hiring a full-time domestic helper for your home :

• Need to sign formal contracts/documents - customers may not have full knowledge about employer/employee contract which may lead to illegal action.
• Some maids may take ad hoc leave, which is difficult to follow up - being late and absence is common for some maids, it is difficult to find a replacement when there is an urgent need.
• It is hard to find a maid nowadays - there is labour shortage in some areas which causes difficulties to find a maid. But Smart Home can solve this problem as we have a huge database collected for over 10 years.
• Some maids are not well trained – however, our team at Smart Home will provide effective and intense training to all our domestic helpers to ensure our premium home cleaning services satisfy our customers. All our domestic helpers at Smart Home have a reputable resume and adequate qualifications and trainings in housekeeping. Smart Home will provide continuous internal training as well.

Note:

Standard service hours: 9am – 1pm OR 2pm – 6pm (Monday – Sunday)

HKD$150 will be charged if customer wish to cancel the service but informs us on the service day originally scheduled.

Extra HKD$20 will be charged for services scheduled on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

The valid date of all service plans is 50 days. Service did not use before valid dates will not be refunded. If customers wish to resume expired services, HKD $150 will be charged per session.

Maximum of HKD$200 refund if any property is negligently damaged by our workers.
